I found Theary on the internet and felt assured by his reviews and also his efficiency in responding v promptly to my detailed proposed itinerary. This enabled me to piece together my own holiday choosing the hotels and pace we wanted instead of adhering to a holiday company's schedule - and saving a lot of money too.

The excellent reviews were correct - please be absolutely assured Theary is efficient, punctual, knowledgeable about his country and has good enough English to talk about any subject. Most of all he is a lovely kind and attentive person - I think the photo of our farewell says it all. 

Our tour was 17 days: Siem Reap - Battambang - Koh Kong - Phnom Penh and Udong then back to PP airport. The journey from Battambang to Koh Kong was seven hours of very challenging driving through the Cardomom Mountain but Theary always kept cheerful and displayed careful driving skills.

Truly, we cannot recommend Theary highly enough and he is 100% to be relied on to give you a great trip.

Theary is the King of drivers. I have now taken several trips with Theary and his other drivers, from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap twices, to Kep and Kampot and to Battambang, and also for numerous airport pick-ups for myself, my family and friends. I found that his prices are competitive and reasonable, and value for money is excellent. Theary and his other drivers are always punctual, speak excellent English, are always polite, considerate and helpful. They are also very personable and easy to talk with, giving a great insight into life into Cambodia along with knowledge of places and sights. Best driver and tour Cambodia

If you want a wonderful driver of anywhere in Cambodia (including Phnom Penh) Theary is the driver for you! Theary was our driver (3 friends)for nearly 2 weeks. Airport pickups, temple tours, Angkor Wat, floating villages, Tonle Sap lake, markets and local food - Theary knew it all. Always on time - not only is Theary incredibly knowledgeable but he is wonderful person with a kind ang generous heart. !Absolutely honest to a fault. We enjoyed talking to Theary as much as the travel. Comfortable air conditioned roomy car and Theary suppied cold water (needed after some of the temple visits!). Nothing was too much trouble and Theary was also very. Flexible. Thanks Theary for a wonderful time in Cambodia. We will definitely be back and be sure to book you!

Courteous and safe driver

I did a 9 day overland tour with Theary from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh during December 2022 and I found  Theary to be a very courteous person and a very safe driver who spoke very good English. He always opened the door for me and kept his car clean and tidy. If you are looking for a driver to take you on a private tour of Cambodia I have no hesitation in recommending Theary.

Extremely good driver Theary !

Theary was so good and drove us around cambodia for 9 full days, We felt extremely safe. He is an excellent and safe driver.

We would recomment Theary to anyone who would like to explore Cambodia. 

He has perfect English ( you need this in Cambodia ) and was very warm and easy to deal with, Not once did he hesitate to provide all the information he knew and cautioned us when need on the price in markets etc.

Great driver and Great guide

Theary is agreat driver and a great man. I drove my family and i (4pax) at December 29th 2021 to January 9th 2022 to Phnom Penh, Kep, Kampot and Sihanoukville and made his best to arrange booking in restaurants and hotels. He is a great driver, safe and avioding risky situations. Althought the roads are poorly maintained and quite dangerous, we always felt in security with him. Furthermore, Theary is nice and explains a lot about his country and its rich history. No need to buy a guidebook, Theary is much better! Finally the price was more than correct, far lower than other drivers or limo campanies. I highly recommend him for any tour in PP and through Cambodia.

We had been to Cambodia before for a short tour, seeing Phnom Penh and Angkor Wat. This time we wanted to explore the other, less well known and more remote sites from August 25th to September 8th 2019.

We were a family group of 4 which became 5 for the last few days of our 2 week trip. We discovered Theary through the internet, where he came recommended. He totally surpassed our expectations. We"ve similaly toured around Vietnam and Laos on previous trips, but we can honestly say Theary was the best driver and guide us the best experience we have had to date.

He helped us plan the trip in the months leading up to our visit, but once we had met him he was flexible to our changes, he allowed us to feel we were in charge of where we went whilst offering good advice. Given the state of same of the roads, this was very important! We saw the East (elephants, river dolphins), we went North (Preah Vihear and Banteay Chmar temples, both incredible despite the heavy rain) and we also went West and finally down to the coast. We felt safe at all times, and he gave us space when we needed it but joined us on other occasions.

By the end of the trip Theary felt like a good friend to all of us, and we have no hesitation in recommending him for your tour of cambodia. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to meet him again.

We spent three weeks with four adults in Cambodia from January 15 to February 5, 2019. Theary drove us all the way from south to north and from east to west. He has always been punctual, kind, helpful and he is funny! He speaks English very well, at least as well as I am French! He made us run small, cheap restaurants on the road. He knows Cambodia very well and so we relied a lot on him. He drives very well, his car is very comfortable and we had a great time thanks to him. Cambodian traffic is not easy at all and the busy roads are often bumpy or lack road signs, so we preferred to hire a driver and we were right. The trip was easy and comfortable thanks to Teary and we can only advise travelers to rent his services. Teary became a friend for us. It is also thanks to his prudent and wise driving that we have named it "Best Cambodian Driver".

We used Theary"s service for our 3 weeks honeymoon around cambodia in November 4th 2018 to November 22nd 2018 and he made our trip just fantastic!

First of all, he is really friendly, as a great sense of humour and has many stories to tell.

Theary is an excellent driver and is really careful: we have never been scared whereas some roads are particularly dangerous because of the Cambodia traffic. He knows his country by heart thanks to this experience and dosen"t need any GPS  (pretty impressive).

Concerning the trip itself, we planned the tour by mail before the trip (he gave us a lots of ideas), but there is no problem to change the daily schedule according to our wishes. Theary is really respectful and discreet, which is much appreciated during a honeymoon, and is everyday very punctual when he pick us up at the hotel. I can't say anything but to book him without a second of hesitation! Thanks a lots Theary!!

Theary is an attentive, careful driver who knows Cambodia very well. He is exceptionally friendly and polite and easily accommodates to the wishes of his customers. He is always on time and well prepared for the day’s itinerary.

We went on a Cambodia tour for 7 days in January 2018, starting in Phnom Penh going to Kratie, Kampong Chnnang and Koh Kong and did several day trips around these locations.

Although I was well prepared for the trip I still learned a lot on Cambodian history, locations and daily life from him. He was able to add some special sights to my itinerary that can’t be found in any travel book or on the internet.

As Theary knows English very well communication was always easy and we had quite some fun together during our long hours on the road.

I’m a solo female traveller and have used drivers in many countries through Asia and South America. Theary is one of the best driver’s I ever met and I always felt safe and comfortable with him.

We are three girls from Germany and it was our first time in cambodia. We decided to do a day trip to the S21 and the killing fields in Phnom Penh and a three day trip to Siem Reap with Theary and it was the best decision! :) we learned so much about the history of cambodia and saw so much of the beautiful landscape! Our three day trip included the Spider village, an amazing floating village where we spent a wonderful evening on a houseboat and of course Angkor Wat and Siem Reap. What a great adventure to discover Cambodia with Theary back in August 2016. Theary was then very young, but it was my first guide in Phnom Penh and its surroundings, with his little motorcycle. i chose him because he was very careful, available, he spoke good English, knew area well, did not drink. As, moreover, I appeciated his humor, we became friends. I have been glad to see Theary at least fifteen times, each time i have traveled to the land of smiles. I attended his marriage, he made me discover incredible place in the capital, I saw him at work when he ran a Danish NGO in the shanty town near the landfill..
